The anavina (Dracian, an-a-vee-na) is a large whale-like fish that swims in the colder regions of the oceans on Enolia. They are prized for their flesh and bone, fatty tissues, and skin. Anavinas are a valuable resource for the Dracians and Castiel as food source and trade material.

Anavina
The anavina can grow up to 60 feet and weigh up to 20 tons. They have a large, filtering mouth and primarily feed on plankton. The back has a large sail ridge used in swimming and diving. The anavina breathes through gills that sit behind their eyes. The most unusual feature is the four legs ending in large webbed fins. This leads some scholars to believe this creature may have been magically born from an age long past.
