The cory plant is a weed that grows in the colder north of Ballidrous in the mountainous regions. This plant is gathered and used for its medicinal properties. The gel from the stems is applied to open wounds because it is believed that it aids in the healing process. Teas are made from the bulbous flower for a sleeping aid and to break fevers.
